Biography:
Kristin Halvorsen Hortemo is a Consultant Dermatologist and Dermatological Surgeon at Oslo University Hospital in Oslo, Norway. She received specialized training in Mohs surgery at the Department of Dermatology at Oslo University Hospital and has completed several international courses in dermatosurgery and Mohs surgery. In addition to her clinical practice, Hortemo is appointed as an Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Medicine at the University of Oslo. Her current research focuses on basal cell carcinoma and tumor predisposition syndromes. She is an active member of the Norwegian Society for Dermatology and Venereology, the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, the European Society for Micrographic Surgery and the International Dermoscopy Society.
