Biography:
I studied medicine at Maastricht University in the Netherlands, after which I completed my residency in dermatology at Maastricht University Medical Centre (MUMC+). During my training, I developed a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, with a strong focus on dermato-oncology. MUMC+ has extensive expertise in this field, providing me with the opportunity to gain experience in the management of both common and more complex cutaneous malignancies. As part of my further specialization, I received training in Mohs micrographic surgery at MUMC+ and Catharina Ziekenhuis, Eindhoven. I am currently working as a dermatologist at Zuyderland Medical Centre, a teaching hospital in the Netherlands. My clinical interests include dermato-oncology and dermatologic surgery, with particular attention to the surgical management of patients with skin cancer. Alongside my clinical work, I contribute to the training and supervision of residents in dermatology.
