Biography:
Dr. Yehonatan Kaplan is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon practicing in Israel. He completed his medical degree at the Gray Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, Tel Aviv University, and his dermatology residency at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov). He then completed an ACMS-approved fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology at Skin and Cancer Associates, Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach, Florida (2022-2023). He is a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) and a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), and the European Society for Micrographic Surgery (ESMS). Dr. Kaplan has performed more than 5,000 Mohs procedures. He directs a dermatologic surgery clinic in Petah Tikva and performs Mohs surgery at Assuta Medical Center in Tel Aviv and at Herzliya Medical Center. His clinical and research interests include treatment of skin cancer, reconstruction after Mohs surgery, and applications of artificial intelligence in dermatologic surgery.
