Biography:
Professor Leonardo Marini is a Dermatosurgeon specializing in both Dermatology and General Surgery. He is the Medical and Scientific Director of The Skin Doctors’ Center, one of the most advanced Dermatosurgical Clinics in northern Italy, where he performs Mohs surgery, laser dermatology, general, and aesthetic dermatologic surgery. Professor Marini co-founded ESMS in Portugal in 1990 and the European Society for Laser Dermatology (ESLD) in 1996, where he served as its first President. He was also a Co-Founder and Past President of the European Society for Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dermatology (ESCAD) and currently serves as its Treasurer. As Chairman of the EADV Task Force for Laser and EBD, he is involved in the Fostering Dermatology teaching program of the EADV and chairs courses in Laser Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery. He serves as Honorary President of the Hellenic Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Professor Marini has published numerous peer-reviewed scientific papers and book chapters and has presented at over 700 international congresses and scientific meetings.
