Studied Medicine at Maastricht University, The Netherlands. Dermatology training at the Free University of Amsterdam (1989-1994). Staff member at the Department of Dermatology Leiden University Medical Centre (1995-2001). PhD thesis (Risk factors for non-melanoma skin cancer) in 2002. Dermatologist at Elisabeth-TweeSteden Hospital, Tilburg, since 2001. Mohs surgery training at Erasmus Medical Centre, Rotterdam (2014-2015).
