Biography:
Janneke Kessels studied medicine at the University of Maastricht. Her residency was performed at the Maastricht University Medical Centre (MUMC). Her Mohs micrographic surgery traineeship took place at the MUMC (trainers Dr. Marieke Reinders, Dr. Klara Mosterd, and Dr. Nicole Kelleners-Smeets) and at the Zuyderland Medical Centre (trainer Dr. Patricia Quaedvlieg). In 2018, she finished her Ph.D. focusing on non-invasive treatments of epidermal keratinocyte neoplasms. Currently, she works as a dermatologist and Mohs surgeon at the Zuyderland Medical Centre.
