Biography:
Gitte studied Medicine at the KU Leuven and was trained as a dermatologist at the University Hospital in Brussels. She was trained as a Mohs surgeon there and received her ESMS qualification in 2023. She did a Mohs observership at the Dermatological surgery and laser unit – Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital, London. She currently works in the University Hospital of Brussels, where she performs Mohs Micrographic Surgery. Yearly, more than 200 Mohs procedures are performed there.
