Biography:
Gertruud Krekels was President of the ESMS 2006-2012. She has trained over 50 dermatologists in Mohs surgery. Her current research focuses on a Disease Management System for non-melanoma skin cancer and Mohs surgery. She works at MOHSA Skin Cancer Clinics in the Netherlands. In 2018, she was awarded the General Dermatologic Surgery Certificate and Mohs Surgery Certificate of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She is Fellowship Director for Mohs surgery for the ASDS.
