Biography:
Dr. Galit Avinoam-Dar is a board-certified Plastic Surgeon and a specialist in Mohs micrographic surgery and facial reconstruction. She is a member of the Israeli Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery. Dr. Avinoam-Dar completed her medical education at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, with plastic surgery training at leading hospitals in Israel, Soroka, and Kaplan. She worked at Women’s College Hospital in Toronto, Canada, for three years, completing a full fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and facial reconstruction, alongside leading dermatology, plastic surgery, and head and neck surgeons. Upon returning to Israel, she became a senior surgeon in the Plastic Surgery Department at Sheba Medical Center and is now the head of the Mohs micrographic surgery unit at Sheba Tel Hashomer Hospital. She has significant experience treating skin cancer in the face, head, and neck area and specializes in facial reconstruction. Dr. Avinoam-Dar is also skilled in plastic surgery treatments, including skin mole and lesion removal, skin cancer surgery, hyperhidrosis treatment with Botox, facial sculpting with Botox and tissue fillers, and facial aesthetic surgeries such as facelifts and blepharoplasty.
