Biography

Dr Oh Choon Chiat is a consultant at Department of Dermatology, Singapore General Hospital. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor  in DUKE-NUS Medical School and Clinical Tutor of Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. He is a visiting dermatologist at Military Medicine Institute Singapore. His areas of interests include medical dermatology, skin cancers, Mohs surgery and skin care in immunocompromised hosts.

He was an International Clinical Dermatology Fellow in Salford Royal Dermatology Centre, Manchester UK in 2013. After completing his

dermatology specialist training in Singapore, he underwent fellowship training in his subspecialty fields under the Health Manpower Development Plan scholarship at University of Zurich Hospital Switzerland, in 2015. Dr Oh’s research interest lies in skin cancers in immunocompromised hosts and potential prevention and treatment. He was awarded Ministry of Health Healthcare Research Scholarship (Masters of Clinical Investigation) in 2016. He is on the editorial board  for Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and editorial consultant for British Journal of Dermatology.
