Charlotte Vrijman was born in Alkmaar, the Netherlands in 1983. She studied Educational sciences and Movement sciences at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and finished her Medical school in 2011 at the same university.
She is a dermatologist since 2016. She followed her residency program in Amsterdam, in both Onze Lieve Vrouwe Gasthuis and the Academic Medical Center. In the Stichting Nederlands Instituut of Pigmentstoornissen (SNIP) she did research on vitiligo which resulted in her PhD thesis ‘Evaluation and treatment of vitiligo’ which she defended in 2015 at the University of Amsterdam.
Since 2017 she has the Mohs surgery certificate of the ESMS and practise dermatology and Mohs surgery in Ziekenhuisgroep Twente (ZGT).
